⚠️ Driver safety — read this one. MAVI is a driver's assistant. Do not type, tap, or read the screen while driving. Use the voice features and CarPlay controls, or pull over first. You are the driver and remain fully responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle at all times.

1. The license

MAVI is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store rules. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.

2. Your account and purchases

MAVI is free to download. Some features require MAVI Pro (an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time unlock, as offered in the app).
Free trial: MAVI Pro offers a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to the paid plan shown at purchase, billed by Apple.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID Settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Price changes: any price change will be announced in advance and applies to your next renewal after the change.
Refunds: all billing is handled by Apple — see our Refund Policy.

3. AI answers are informational

MAVI's chat and voice answers are generated by an AI model. AI can be wrong. MAVI is not a certified mechanic, a diagnostic instrument, or a substitute for your Ford owner's manual and a qualified technician. Before acting on anything safety- or repair-related, verify it with a professional. Never ignore a warning light because an AI said it was fine.

4. Vehicle data is as-good-as-the-connection

Readings depend on your vehicle, your OBD adapter, and signal quality. Gauges based on estimates (fuel calibration, battery health forecasts, projected service dates) are labeled as estimates. MAVI shows -- rather than fake data when a value is unavailable.

5. Acceptable use

Use MAVI lawfully. Don't use it to tamper with emissions systems, alter odometers, defeat safety systems, or misrepresent a vehicle's condition or history to a buyer.

6. Your data

You own your data. See the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for anything you upload to the Garage Vault (documents, photos), including having the right to store it.

7. Intellectual property

MAVI, its name, logo, and code are property of GHB Ventures. Apple, MapKit, iOS, CarPlay, and SF Symbols are trademarks of Apple Inc. Vehicle makes, models, and marks belong to their owners; MAVI is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ford Motor Company.

8. Warranty disclaimer

MAVI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GHB Ventures is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for damage to your vehicle arising from use of MAVI. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

10. Termination

You can stop using MAVI anytime (Settings → Erase All My Data removes everything). We may revoke the license for material misuse of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
